Catalonia, top EU region in foreign investment attraction into the video game sector
Catalonia is the leading region in the European Union in foreign investment attraction from the video game sector. 20 new foreign investment projects from international studios have been attracted over the last five years, representing an investment of close to 120 million euros.
 
"Barcelona is a great place for technology and innovation"
US tech giant Google opened earlier this year its new headquarters in Barcelona, creating 40 new jobs. Danilo Colnaghi, director of Google Barcelona, says that Catalonia represents a significant part of their business.

French tech company papernest opens new offices in Barcelona and creates up to 300 new jobs
The company, established in the Catalan capital in 2018 and where it has created 700 jobs so far, consolidates its Barcelona headquarters as the most important center for the group and its main strategic hub in Europe.
